General meeting, socializing, tricks, and food! There will be something planned to remember Terri and Pudge, bring your favorite photo/memento of either/both of them. If you wish to donate, they will be accepted to Berner Rescue in Terri’s memory and to Berner Blessings in Pudge’s memory. Bring your Berners, a potluck item, and chairs. Pulled pork/chicken and water will be provided. We'll start the meeting around Noon while we're eating. Lanelle Warrick, a Trick Dog Certifier, will be available to certify tricks for AKC titles. The AKC website includes trick checklists: http://www.akc.org/sports/trick-dog/resources/trick-dog-applications/. Be sure to check out the evaluator guide, there are a few rules. If you are feeling ambitious with a dog who has a lot of tricks or behaviors (dog sports skills count!), you can test for multiple titles! Some tricks need props, so bring what you need or contact me. I have lots of things that can be used: practice jumps, weave poles, platform, fitpaws equipment, draft cart & harnesses (90 lb Berner sized), the club’s draft test equipment, dumbbells, toys, etc. RSVP for trick testing helpful but not required (to get a count of tests).
Parking is available in my 2 driveways (last house on right on a dead-end street) and across the street in front of my neighbor’s house. If it’s full, drop off your dogs & stuff and park up the street.
